ORIGINS

Founded in 2017, Indigo & Goods launched its first collection of indigo garments and other goods at the Isle Of Wight Festival.

The brand references the founder's earlier years as an outerwear and denim designer, where he developed an interest in vintage workwear and military clothing, together with the fabrics and finishes often seen in these garments.

Influence

Indigo & Goods design starts with the fabric. British heritage fabrics form the backbone of what is used. Britain is the home of rain and rainwear and has its heritage in hardwearing fabrics. Waxed and treated cottons, moleskins and cords are what we like. Often using heavier fabrics traditionally used in outerwear. Mixing with fabrics of unusual dye treatments or finishes that age with wear similar to denim.

MAKE

We also ensure we produce garments to the very highest standard. All garments are made in England using cloth knitted or woven in the UK (with exception to any yarn dye or Indigo dye woven in Japan). Garments are made using carefully selected factories based in north London or the midlands. The close proximity makes working together far easier, as factory visits are weekly affairs. All are small factories we trust. More often than not, family run and owned. Each of these factories are specialists in their area of expertise. Using heavier machines often used in the production of workwear and industrial clothing to attain the sturdy Indigo & Goods style.
