The fatigue trouser has one of the most direct lineages in workwear. The US Army OG-107 — introduced in the 1950s as a utility field pant — defined the silhouette: loose through the seat and thigh, tapered to the hem, with a lower-sitting contoured waistband and pockets built for actual use. It was worn by soldiers, then by workers, then by anyone who needed a trouser that moved with them and held up to hard days. The Loose Fatigue is drawn directly from that template. Same logic, same proportions, made in England from weathered cotton that develops its own character over time.

Fabric

7oz flat-weave cotton with a dry wax finish treatment impregnated into the fabric — the same process used on the Terrace Overshirt in Weathered Cotton, applied here to a trouser weight cloth. It starts with a slightly stiff, rugged hand and softens with wear, developing creases and wear marks similar in character to raw denim. Each pair becomes increasingly individual over time. The jungle green colourway is a deep, saturated military green — closer to field green than olive, with enough depth to anchor an outfit. Machine washable at 30°. No tumble dry.

Manufacturing

Made in England. Grown-on contoured waistband — cut lower in the front than the back for a more relaxed, natural sit. Loose through the seat and top half, tapering down the leg to the hem. Supply pockets at the front. Oversized patch pockets with buttoned flaps at the back — deep and roomy enough for most wallet sizes. Zip fly. Signature black buttons at waist and back pockets. Thick sturdy belt loops. Interior cotton binding at seams for a clean and comfortable finish.

Fit note

The waist is oversized by design. If you wear a belt, choose your normal waist size for a relaxed look. If you wear without a belt, size down one. Wear the leg cuffed high or low depending on the occasion.

Styling

The loose fatigue silhouette works best with a tucked or half-tucked layer above — a plain tee, a worker shirt, or Overshirt worn open. The jungle green sits well with olive, khaki, and neutral tones above, and works equally well with a heavier overshirt or jacket in darker colourways. Footwear: boots or chunky trainers suit the relaxed leg; avoid anything too slim-soled.
